Biography

High School: A mid-distance runner who narrowly missed finishing as an All-State runner in the 400m placing ninth in 2011... Also a member of the 4x200m team that season... In 2010, helped the 4x800m relay squad earn a fifth place finish in the Division 1 state finals... Also competed in the 800m and on the 4x400m relay team.

Personal: Son of Kelly and Kevin Murphy... Born in Monroe... Has two younger siblings, Olivia and Cole... Part of National Honors Society, Student Council... Was a volunteer assistant coach for middle school team at Trinity Lutheran School... Enjoys weight lifting, hanging out with friends, biking, swimming, and working on his truck.
