2009-10: Went 1-8 in singles, and 0-5 in doubles in his rookie year…Picked up his first career win at Michigan State's Frank Beeman Invitational knocking off Brad Krick of Wright State, 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (2)… Participated in the qualifying round of the ITA Midwest Regional Championships.

Prior to Detroit: A four-time member of the All-State Academic Team… In his final prep season, he played at No. 1 and was named team captain and MVP as well as to the Macomb County Dream Team…Was also honored as the WXYZ-TV McDonald’s Scholar Athlete of the week, Macomb Daily’s Athlete of the Week and Detroit Public Schools & Catholic League Operation Friendship Scholar Athlete… He then received the United States Tennis Association Sportsmanship’s Award…Named MVP in doubles as well as to first team All-Macomb County and Rookie of the Year as a freshman…He followed that with a third team All-Macomb County selection as a sophomore at No. 3 singles and a second team and All-Catholic League honors at No. 2 singles as a junior.

Personal: Son of Jane and Chris Didio... A member of the Student Council, National Honor Society, Link Crew, Focus Hope and Adopt a Family in high school... Lists his biggest thrill in sports as going to the state championships and being named a team captain…Chose Detroit over Oakland and Western Michigan…His great uncle attended Detroit’s dental school…Has two sisters Maria (21) and Natalie (16)… A Nursing major.
