Named the Horizon League Co-Defensive Player of the Year along with Butler’s Ronald Nored becoming the first Titan to ever earn the defensive accolade…Was also named to the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Defensive All-America Team…Finished second in the league with 2.2 steals per game, a number that ranked 19th in the nation… His 76 steals on the year were second in school history in a single season, just four behind the all-time lead, while his 190 career takeaways is tied for second in Titan annals, just five shy of the all-time school mark…Had 20 career games with four or more steals, including six this season in his senior year and in back-to-back games against Chicago State and Green Bay…Averaged 5.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and a team-best 4.1 assists, fifth in the conference…Led all Horizon League players with a 2.0 assist-turnover ratio…Had nine points, six rebounds and three assists in the Titans’ first round victory at Valparaiso…Posted first career double-double with season-high 13 points and 10 assists against Eastern Michigan…Finished with a career-high 11 assists vs. Milwaukee…Had nine points at Butler and a block that was featured as No. 10 on ESPN’s SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays of the Day on Jan. 10. …Dished out six assists against Loyola and UIC, and had eight boards against the Flames…Tallied seven rebounds as well as five assists at Milwaukee…Handed out nine assists against Central Michigan…Collected eight points, six boards and six assists vs. Tennessee State…Came away with five steals along with 10 points and four assists against Cleveland State…Scored 11 points with five assists, four steals and four rebounds against Youngstown State…A terrific all-around game with 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in a winning effort over in-state rival Western Michigan…A member of SAAC.

Earned the Robert Calihan Most Valuable Player honor as well as the Fr. Norbert Huetter, S.J. award for attitude, dedication and leadership …Was the only Titan to start all 30 games on the season leading the team in assists (3.6) and steals (2.2), while finishing second in scoring (8.3) and third in rebounding (3.5)…He also ranked second in the Horizon League, and tied for 28th in the country, in steals, while finishing fourth in the conference in assists and fifth in assist-to-turnover ratio…Recorded 11 double figure scoring efforts on the season, including three 20-point performances, as well as eight games with five or more assists and 13 games with four or more rebounds…Had six points, six assists and seven rebounds to open up the season at Purdue…Poured in 17 points against Saint Louis, hitting 8-of-10 free throws, including two with under 30 seconds left to seal the victory…Netted 17 points, four assists and three boards at Milwaukee…Tallied his first career 20+ point game with 24 markers against Youngstown State on a career best 9-of-11 from the field…Posted his second career 20-point effort with 20 points against Loyola…Nearly registered a triple-double with 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists at YSU, setting his career high in boards and tying his career best for assists in the process…Also played in a career-high 43 minutes in that contest…Had his third 20-point game of the season with a team-best 21 points against No. 11/11 Butler…Set a new career-high with six steals at Bowling Green and matched that with six steals at Loyola.
2007-08
Played in 24 games, with 21 starts… One of the Horizon League’s top on-the-ball defenders… Finished third in the conference, and 64th in the nation, with 1.88 steals a game… Averaged 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists a game as a sophomore… Led the Titans in shooting at 46 percent from the field and was second in three-point percentage, hitting 42 percent of his attempts… Started his first collegiate game in the Titans season-opening victory over Kent State, finishing with five points, three rebounds and two assists… Recorded a career-high five steals against Rochester College… Tallied eight points and five assists, along with his first career block, at Eastern Michigan… Dished out a personal-best eight assists against Youngstown State… Set career highs in points (12) and minutes (40), while tying a career-best with four rebounds, versus Milwaukee… Corralled a personal-best four rebounds on six occasions… Hit a career-high three treys at UIC, ending the contest with nine points… The recipient of the Larry Doyle Most Dedicated Titan Award after the season…
AS A TITAN
Played in 27 of the Titans’ 30 games as a freshman… His playing time reached double figures on six occasions, including a season-high 17 minutes played in Detroit’s win at Chicago State… Dented the scoring column in 11 different games… Had a season-high four points against Horizon League rival Youngstown State, shooting 2-for-2 from the floor against the Penguins…
PERSONAL
A third-team All-State player at Ypsilanti High as a senior under coach Steve Brooks… Averaged 14.3 points, seven rebounds, five steals and six assists in his final prep season… Led his team to a District title in the state tournament… Signed a National Letter of Intent before the start of the campaign… Just played the second half of his junior year at Ypsilanti after transferring from Inkster… Despite missing the first 14 games of the season, still moved into the lineup quickly and was able to average 18 points a contest… Received All-Mega Conference and All-Metro West accolades at the end of the year… An outstanding performer in track and field as well… Graduated from Ypsilanti after winning the 2006 state championship in the long jump (22-8) while also finishing fourth in the high jump (6-5)… Set his school record in the long jump with a distance of 23-1… Also ran the 100 meters for the Braves, finishing second at the Division I Regional finals… Former Inkster High teammate Victor Morris plays at Cleveland State, one of UDM’s Horizon League rivals… Major in Communications Studies.
