2009-10
Played in 32 games with his lone start on Senior Day…In his career, he saw action in 111 total games…Missed two contests during the regular season with a broken nose suffered in practice…Tallied 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game…Posted a season-high 11 points, mostly from the free throw line where he went a career-best 7-of-8, against Valparaiso in the first round of the Horizon League championships…Came off the bench to notch seven points at Youngstown State…Had seven points in 18 minutes in a reserve role at Wright State…Grabbed a season-high eight rebounds against Chicago State…Posted a career-high three blocks and collected five points and five rebounds against Shawnee State…Handed out a season-high four assists against Youngstown State and Central Michigan…Contributed seven points and three rebounds in the 86-80 victory over Western Michigan.

One of the Titans top returning scorers, Stephens appeared in 26 games as a junior with 17 starts…Second on the team with 8.1 points per game, while corralling 2.5 rebounds per contest…Also third on the squad hitting 71-pecent from the free-throw line and connecting on 15 3-point field goals…Scored in double figures nine time, with a season-high 17 points on two occasions…One of two Titans to score in double figures at #10/11 Purdue netting 12 points…Tallied a team-high 13 points to go with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes off the bench against EMU… Grabbed a season-high six rebounds at Youngstown State, while recording a career-high four steals at UIC…Recorded his sixth double figure scoring outing of the season with 11 markers at Loyola…Had his third-straight game in double figures tying his season-high with 17 points against Green Bay.

2007-08
Played in all 30 games, with 20 starts… Finished the year third on the squad in scoring at 7.0 points per contest and finished tied for second with 3.4 boards a night… Really picked up his game in the second half of the season, averaging 9.8 ppg and 4.6 rpg in the last 16 games, up from 3.7 and 1.9, respectively, in the first 14 contests… The only Titan to score in double figures in the Horizon League Tournament, netting a game- and career-high 18 points at Wright State… In that contest, he hit a career best 3-of-4 from three-point territory… Grabbed at least six rebounds in seven of his last 13 games… Had nine double-figure scoring outings on the season, including eight in conference play… Scored what was then a career-high 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting against Cleveland State… Handed out a career-high four assists against Green Bay… Swatted a personal-best two shots against Wright State and tied that with a pair against Green Bay… Corralled a career-best 10 boards at Loyola… Also recorded a personal-best three steals vs. Rochester College…

AS A TITAN
Saw action in 23 of the Titans’ 30 games as a freshman… Was generally used as a reserve, but did have one stretch prior to the New Year in which he started four straight contests… Averaged 3.0 points in those four starting assignments, including a career-best seven markers against eventual Horizon League kingpin Wright State… Also had four points in a later contest against Wright State… Had a one-game high of three rebounds against UIC, another of Detroit’s Horizon League opponents… Had two assists at Chicago State to log another one-game high…

PERSONAL
Capped off a stellar high school career at Detroit Southeastern by earning second-team All-State accolades at the end of his senior campaign… Averaged 24 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in 2006, his final season with the Jungaleers…Was also a Public School League All-Academic selection… Played for coach Carlton Johnson…Was All-City for three straight years… His teams won two District championships, and a like number of Regional titles, during his high school career… Former Southeastern teammates Thomas Kennedy is now a UDM teammate after transferring from at Mott Community College in Flint… Stephens’ father, Eulis Sr., played collegiately at nearby Oakland University, where he was a 1,000-point career scorer… His uncle, Rod Stephens, played linebacker in the NFL for the Washington Redskins… Enjoys music and video games in his spare time… Admires the game of NBA stars LeBron James and Dwayne Wade… Majoring in Accounting.
