2009 (Junior): Took the pitcher’s circle 28 times for the Titans and started 25…Led Detroit in ERA (5.60), opposing batting average (.369), games started and tied for the team lead in wins (3)…Tossed seven complete games, including back-to-back complete games versus Niagara (3-1-09) and Lehigh (3-2-09)…Allowed just one run in complete game victory against Niagara (3-1-09)…Also earned a win throwing a complete game against Youngstown State (4-1-09) in which she only allowed one run.
2008 (Sophomore): Started 10 games with 16 appearances…Compiled a 5.07 ERA and 4-7 record with 40 strikeouts and only 14 walks in 78.2 innings of work…Pitched nine complete games…Victories came versus LaSalle (3-4-08), Valparaiso (3-30-08), Oakland (4-8-08) and Green Bay (4-19-08)…Recorded season-high five strikeouts versus Youngstown State (4-3-08)...Received National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2007-08 academic year for excellence in the classroom maintaining a 3.82 GPA.
2007 (Freshman): Stepped into the Titans’ pitching rotation right away...Tied for first in the Horizon League with only 17 walks allowed...Finished seventh in the league with 26 appearances...Led UDM in innings pitched (95.1) and ERA (4.11)...Worked 3.2 innings in relief in season opener against Valparaiso (March 4), striking out four and walking none while giving up just one earned run...Made first career start versus South Dakota State (March 5)...Earned first victory of her collegiate career against IPFW (March 8)...She held the Mastodons to just three hits over six innings, while allowing an unearned run and striking out three with one walk...Pitched five innings of relief against Loyola, striking out four and walking none (April 1)...Collected her second win of the season when she allowed two runs and five hits over seven innings of work in a 9-2 decision over Butler (April 15)...Picked up the Titans’ only save of 2007 when she came on to nail down an 8-5 win over Youngstown State in the Horizon League Tournament (May 10).
High School: Earned a combined seven letters in softball (four) and tennis (three) at Brandon High School...Played alongside fellow Titan Jessica Liebner while at Brandon...Was a four-time All-League, All-District, All-Region, and All-State Selection on the diamond...Was also a team captain in both softball and tennis as a senior...Selected class valedictorian and was a member of the National Honor Society.
