2013: Ended the year with a .155 batting average and a 6.87 ERA… Had two RBI and four runs in the box and a win and a team-leading 44 strikeouts in the circle… Pitched two innings and allowed one earned run and two strikeouts in a start against UNCW (2/8)… Pinch hit and scored a run in the first win of the year against UNCW (2/9), and scored a run against Nebraska-Omaha (2/10)… Pitched 2.1 innings with four strikeouts and a double in the box against Wichita State (2/22)… Pitched three innings in relief with no earned runs and two k’s against UMKC (2/24)… Started against La Salle and pitched 4.1 innings and allowed one earned run and one hit (3/2)… Pitched 5.1 innings allowing one earned run with 6 strikeouts in the circle and was 1-2 with an RBI in the box against Grambling State (3/5)… Pitched 1.2 innings allowing one earned runs with two strikeouts against North Dakota and followed that with 2.1 innings with no runs and one strikeout against St. Francis (3/9)… Was 1-2 against Fordham (3/16) and was 1-3 in the first game of a doubleheader against UIC (4/6)… Had two hits in the series against Loyola (4/13-14)… In a 9-0 (5 inn.) win against Valparaiso pitched a complete game allowing three hits and no runs on the rubber and was 1-3 with an RBI and two runs scored (4/20)… Had a hit at Wright State and at Green bay (5/4)… Finished the year in the circle pitching 3.1 innings in relief allowing one earned run with two strikeouts… A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2012: Made 24 appearances and 17 starts in the circle for the Titans... Â She ended the year with a team-leading five wins and a team-low5.16 ERA with 39 strikeouts... Â Earned her first win of the year in a 4-3 victory over The University of Evansville where she pitched a complete game striking out a pair of batters (Feb. 26)... Â Struck out six batters and allowed only two runs in a 6-2 win over Lafayette (Mar. 10)... Â She defeated Farleigh Dickinson 4-3 (Mar. 10) and helped UDM to an 8-4 victory over Dayton (Mar. 20; Game 1) where she allowed only one earned run and stuck out four... Â She earned her fifth win in a relief effort when she pitched four innings allowing only one run and striking out two batters (Apr. 7)... Â Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Named to the 2012 Spring Horizon League Adademic Honor Roll.
2011: Picked up her first career win in the circle in a 3-2 win over Wagner (Mar. 11) pitching a complete game allowing just two runs (one earned) walking no one... Her second win came the next day in a 5-1 victory over Lafayette holding the opposition to one earned run over nine hits in seven innings... Started first game at a position other then pitcher against Bowling Green (Apr. 20, game two) getting the call to play in right field... First collegiate hit came with a single in the third inning in the next game against Green Bay (Apr. 23, game one) in her fifth career plate appearance... Also collected her first RBI and multi-hit game with an RBI single in a seven-run inning for Detroit... Closed out the year for Detroit pitching two complete games against Loyola (May 7-8) allowing just five earned runs in the two games and striking out a season-high seven... Finished second on the team with 20 appearances and 90.2 innings pitched on the season... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Named an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.
Prior to Detroit: Holds the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) record in strikeouts (1,126), career wins (94), and season wins (34)... Named All-Conference in 2007 and 2008... Named to the MHSSCA All-District team in 2008, 2009, and 2010... Earned 2009 and 2010 MHSSCA All-Region team honors... She was on the 2010 MHSSCA All-State First Team and helped her squad to the 2008, 2009, and 2010 MHSAA District Softball Championships... Earned the MHSSCA Academic All-State Team Award in 2009 and 2010... Holds many of her high school records including the top three single-season marks for strikeouts in a season, throwing 11 no-hitters, including four in each 2009 and 2010, and from 2007-2010, she was named her team MVP at Manistee... Earned varsity letters in four different sports at Manistee High School capturing one in swimming, two in cross country, three in basketball, and four in softball.
