TITANS HOST BUTLER: The Detroit Titans softball team resumes Horizon League play with a doubleheader against visiting Butler at Buysse Ballpark on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. The Titans are 4-16 (0-3 HL) and look to win their first conference series of the season. UDM holds a slim 28-25 all-time record against the Bulldogs.
 
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Butler enters this weekend's series with an 8-14 (0-3 HL) record and is coming off a pair of non-conference wins against Dayton (March 26). BU is also in search of its first conference win as the team dropped its league opening series to UIC (March 21-22). The Bulldogs are led by sophomore Erin Jackson who leads the team with a .290 average and 15 runs scored while ranking second with 18 hits. Senior Alex Boros is also hitting .288 with 19 hits and 10 RBI.
 
SCLATER DIGS THE LONG BALL: Sophomore Kristin Sclater (Taylor, MI/Kennedy) leads the Titans with four home runs. In Detroit's doubleheader split with IPFW (March 24), Sclater belted two home runs while going 2-for-6 on the day with five RBI and two runs scored which helped UDM snap an eight game slide.
