YouTube Link To SportsCenter's Highlight

Senior Woody Payne (Inkster, MI/Ypsilanti) was highlighted on the nation's most famous sports show for his block in yesterday's game against Butler as it was No. 10 on ESPN's SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays of the Day. 

The block occurred with 8:52 left in the game. The Bulldogs were ahead by five and had just stolen the ball looking to extend their lead when Payne came from behind to swat Ronald Nored's layup. 

It is nothing new for Payne to make headlines with his defense, but that usually comes from taking the ball away as he is the current Horizon League active steals leader with 158, a number that places him third in UDM history.
