DETROIT (11/29/12) – The University of Detroit Mercy Athletics Department has announced the hiring of Ruth Fruge as the Ticket Sales and Fan Experience Manager.  Fruge has already begun her position at UDM.
 
"I'm happy to be part of the Titan team," said Fruge. "I look forward to not only increasing the number of fans at UDM sporting events but also giving them the best experience possible to keep them coming back."

Recently, Fruge worked as the Marketing and Ticket Operations Assistant at Northwestern State University (La.).  There she assisted in all facets of ticket operations and fan interaction.  She also worked as a Recruitment Student Assistant in the Louisiana Scholars' College Recruitment Office where she assisted in maintaining all student records for those wishing to attend the College.
 
“Ruth brings a skill set that will further develop our revenue streams and enhance the fan experience at UDM events,” said Interim Director of Athletics Jason Horn.  “Her solid customer service, revenue generating, and entrepreneurial talents is what we are seeking to continue to grow the Titan fan base in metro Detroit, throughout the state, and across the country.”
