Detroit embarks on its season-ending, nine-game road swing Saturday when it heads to Indianapolis to face the Bulldogs for a weekend three-game series. The Titans will then travel to Cleveland Tuesday and Wednesday before the regular season ends at Loyola.

Shelby Long is in a stretch of games that has seen her drive in seven runs over her past seven games in which she has at least one plate appearance. She has been especially clutch in bases-loaded situations in this recent run, garnering hits in both the Green Bay and UIC series to help win games. She leads the team with a .360 batting average (9-25) with runners in scoring position.

HORIZON HAPPENINGS
The Horizon League employs a six-team postseason tournament to determine its NCAA Tourament automatic berth recipient. Detroit sits 4.5 games out of a playoff spot heading into this weekend with key games against Butler, who is currently in fifth, and current No. 7 Cleveland State. This week's action will shake the standings as spots 3-9 are separated by just 5.5 games.

Hannah Klenk was awarded the Fr. Norbert Huetter, S.J. Award for attitude, dedication and leadership at the annual Titan Academic and Athletic Honors Luncheon Thursday. The award recognizes her reputation as one of the hardest workers on the team and always comes to every workout, practice and game with the right attitude it takes to help the Titans win. Seniors
Rachel Copple and
Renee Zaccagni were both also recogined for their work in the classroom, being four-year members of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. This award means that both student-athletes have achieved at least a 3.0 greade point average in every semester they have participated in college athletics.
