THE LONG WAIT
Detroit will have waited over two weeks since its last game when it hits the field on Tuesday as weather has forced the last two series to be postponed. It will have been 15 days since the Titans have stepped foot on a field for a game and almost a complete calendar year since they last played a home game against Youngstown State on Apr. 19, 2012.

LAST TIME OUT
The Titans returned from a road trip to Kentucky and Virginia where they were scheduled to play seven games in three days, but were only able to get five in. Three players had five hits over that weekend led by Katelyn Steffel, who went 5-for-9 from the plate and drove in three runs, while Sara Cupp hit a pair of homers and drove in a team-high five RBI.

UDM earned a split at Morehead State where it took game one, 7-4, but fell in game two, 5-1. In the first game, Sam Henderson went 2-for-4 with four RBI and a home run and Kat Hoffman earned her first win of the season in the circle, allowing only two earned runs in 3.2 innings of work.

At the James Madison Invitational, Cupp had a two-run home run over the right field fence in game one against Binghamton and Katy Severson combined to go 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored on the first day of play. On day two Katelyn Steffel led the Titans to a season-high 16 hits, going 4-4 with two RBI and two runs against Fordham, and Cupp went 2-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI.

ATOP THE LEAGUE
Sophomore Alyssa Schaub leads the Horizon League with a total of nine stolen bases this year. Schaub has been successful on nine of her 12 attempts for a percentage of .750. UDM had a league-high 16 hits in the contest against Fordham on Feb. 16, and Cupp's four home runs this year put her in a tie for fourth in the league.

LEADING THE WAY
Junior Sara Cupp leads Detroit in 10 statistical categories, including home runs, batting average, slugging percentage and on base percentage. Cupp is hitting .302 from the left side of the plate and has an on base percentage of .416. She leads the team with 19 hits, four homers and 12 RBI in the young 2013 season. She is slugging at a .540 pace and has 34 total bases, both team highs. She is one of only two Titans to start all 23 games for the Titans (Alyssa Schaub being the other).

HOME OPENERS
Detroit is 15-16 all-time in home openers in its history and has won three of the past four at Buysse Ballpark.

THE FALCONS
Bowling Green is 12-11 (1-3 MAC) and lost four-straight games before it defeated Miami (Ohio), 5-1, in the second half of a doubleheader on Saturday.

Hannah Fulk leads the Falcons with a .313 batting average with five RBI and two home runs, while Paige Berger has 12 hits in 24 games and is tied for the team-lead with three doubles. Marissa Schock has 10 RBI on the year with three doubles and a pair of homers and Katie Yoho leads the team with three round trippers and has driven in nine runs.

Paris Imholz is the ace of the pitching staff with nine wins in 11 starts and an ERA of 1.75. Imholz has struck out 51 batters and has held opposing hitters to a .230 average. Jamie Kertes has four wins on the year with a 3.27 ERA in the circle.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
UDM will hit the road again when it travels to Mount Pleasant, Mich., to play a doubleheader against Central Michigan on Wednesday, with game time scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
