Robert C. Vowels, Jr. has announced that
Michael Miller has been hired as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development. Miller joins the Titans after serving as the Assistant Director of Athletic Development at Eastern Michigan University.
"I am excited to join the Titan family and look forward to working with all of the wonderful donors, alumni, fans, and staff at UDM," said Miller. "It is an honor to be part of such a rapidly growing athletic program, led by Robert Vowels, and I look forward to continuing that growth in the future."
With the Titans, Miller will manage all development and fundraising efforts for UDM Athletics and its' 19 varsity sports. He will work closely with the Titan Club and CAL Club, while generating Major Gift opportunities for Titan Athletics.

"We believe our donors and alumni will enjoy getting to know Michael and working with him as we continue to grow Titan Athletics."

Miller handled the annual fund giving and major gifts for all 21 varsity sports programs, while also planning and managing special events for Eastern Michigan.
Prior to his career at EMU, Miller was a mediator for Wayne and Oakland County. As the youngest mediator in the state of Michigan, he mediated over 200 cases in small claims, landlord tenant claims, civil disputes, and divorce and parenting time.
Miller earned a master's degree in negotiation and mediation from Wayne State University in 2008, and in 2011, he graduated from EMU with a master's in sport management.
