Titans Right Back At It As UDM Visits Wright State On Monday

DETROIT (1/17/2016) -- 
After opening the Horizon League with five-straight home games, the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will hit the road for three-straight contests starting on Monday, Jan. 18, at Wright State.

The game will tip at 7:00 p.m., at the Wright State Nutter Center and will be broadcast live on the American Sports Network with Brett Dolan and Mark Adams on the call. The Voice of the Titans Dan Leach will have all the action with an online audio stream on 97.1 (available online or on your phone with the Tunein or Radio.com APP). Live stats will also be available.

The Titans have dropped two in a row and come into the game at 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the Horizon League. Detroit is still among the top 20 in the nation in scoring and three-point shooting.

With sophomore Jaleel Hogan setting a career high with 20 points against Oakland, Detroit now has all five of its starters averaging double digits in scoring. Sophomore Paris Bass is tallying 18.0 points and 6.8 rebounds, while senior Anton Wilson is averaging 15.4 points and leads the team with 47, 3-pointers. 

Wright State started the year at 1-4, but has now won three in a row and seven of its last eight to stand at 10-8, 4-1 in conference play. The lone loss was at Green Bay, while the Raiders have wins at Milwaukee and at Northern Kentucky as well as home victories against Cleveland State and Youngstown State.

The red, white and blue will visit the Wisconsin schools next week with a Saturday game at Milwaukee and another Monday night game at Green Bay.
