DETROIT (1/21/2017) -- The third home game of the week is on tap for the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team when the Titans host Cleveland State for a 1 p.m. Sunday contest from Calihan Hall. Under second-year head coach
Bernard Scott, the Titans (9-9 overall) are 5-2 in the Horizon League matching the same record as Cleveland State (10-8, 5-2 HL) through seven league games. It's the first meeting of the season between the two schools.
Detroit Mercy owns a 4-0 league mark at home so far in 2016-17, the best for the squad after four conference contests at Calihan Hall since the 2009-10 season. The 5-2 Horizon League record overall after seven games is the best start of the Titans since the 2011-12 campaign.

• In Horizon League play, the Titans leads the league in assists (18.4 apg) and blocked shots (4.7 bpg). Detroit Mercy is second in scoring offense (74.9 ppg), field goal percentage (44.4%), field goal defense (36.5%) and 3-point field goal defense (27.8%).
• The Titans have shot 40 percent or better in 11 games this season, holding a 7-4 mark in those contests.
• Detroit Mercy is also 5-2 in contests and 4-0 in HL games when it scores 80 or more points.

Rosanna Reynolds became the fifth Titans to surpass 1,500 career points and also moved into fourth place in all-time scoring during Monday's game against NKU. Reynolds is 17 assists away from the career record and would become just the second player with 500 career assists with two more dimes.

Rosanna Reynolds scores 20 or more points.
• Reynolds has the top two assist totals this season in the Horizon League, tallying 11 vs. UIC and 12 at Milwaukee. Reynolds leads the conference in total assists (104) and assists per game (5.8).

Kelsey Mitchell (3rd, 55.4) and
Brianne Cohen (4th, 54.1) are in the top five in the Horizon League in field goal percentage. Mitchell is No. 1 in HL-only contests with a 61.2 percentage (30-for-49).

Haleigh Ristovski is among the Horizon League leaders in steals with 32 in 18 contests. In seven league games, she has 18 in seven games (2.6 per game).
• Reynolds, who ranks 25th in the nation in assists, reached 100 assists on the season for the fourth time in her career. She had a career-high 149 in 2015-16.
• Reynolds is the top active scorer in the Horizon League with her 1,528 points, which is also 31st in the NCAA among active players. She is also the active HL leader in assists with 498, which is 14th in the country among active players in Division I.
• Reynolds has started all 115 games in her career and is tied-for-fourth all-time in career starts.

Nicole Urbanick is quickly moving up the all-time 3-pointers made list and ranks seventh with 167.

Nicole Urbanick ranks first in the HL in 3-pointers made per game (2.6), sinking 44 in 17 games. She is fourth in the conference and 48th in the NCAA with a 40.4 shooting clip from beyond the arc. In HL-only games, Urbanick has made 22-of-44 triples (50.0%).
• Detroit Mercy has a win margin of 16.2 points in five Horizon League victories this season.

Haleigh Ristovski and
Rosanna Reynolds have matching 3.8 assist-to-turnover ratios in seven HL games, which is tied-for-first in the league. Ristovski has 23 assists to just six turnovers, while Reynolds has a 46-to-12 ratio.
• Detroit Mercy has 33 blocks in seven HL games and are led on that front by
Brianne Cohen and
Kelsey Mitchell, who each have 10 blocks in league contests.

Detroit Mercy improved to 4-0 in league home games on Friday, defeating visiting Youngstown State by an 80-63 margin at Calihan Hall.
Rosanna Reynolds posted her fourth double-double in the past seven games with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while
Brianne Cohen added 18 points and seven boards.
Brittney Jackson added 12 points on four triples, tying her career-high in points.
Detroit Mercy used a 15-2 run in the fourth quarter to help put the game away, turning a two-point game into a 15-point lead late in the stanza. The Titans tied a season-high with 49 rebounds and shot 47.1 percent during the game and 40 percent from beyond the arc.

Detroit Mercy is 38-15 all-time against Cleveland State, which includes a 22-4 mark in games played at Calihan Hall. The Titans have won the past three games against the Vikings, including both under head coach
Bernard Scott, who was a long-time assistant for CSU.
Scott earned the first league win of his career in last year's victory over Cleveland State with Detroit Mercy winning 82-68 at Calihan Hall on Jan. 4, 2016. The Titans made 13 triples in the contest, with
Nicole Urbanick sinking six of them. She scored a game-high 24 points.
In two games against CSU last year,
Rosanna Reynolds led the Titans averaging 22.0 points, while
Brianne Cohen averaged 16.5 points per game vs. CSU.
Scouting Cleveland State
The Vikings are also 5-2 in the Horizon League and have reached 10 victories on the season after opening the year 4-6. CSU most recently defeated Oakland by 12 points on the road, 74-62, out-scoring the Golden Grizzlies in the final quarter, 18-4. Khayla Livingston had 28 points and nine assists in the victory.
Sophomore Ashanti Abshaw has started all 18 games and leads the team in scoring at 18.3 ppg and rebounding at 7.2 rpg. Livingston is averaging 14.2 points, while Olivia Voskuhl adds 8.2 ppg and Nicolete Newman scores 8.1 ppg. Livingston has a team-high 81 assists, while Shadae Bosley leads the squad with 23 blocks. Cleveland State is 2-2 in Horizon League road games this season and 5-5 overall in games played away from its home gym.
