(1/28/2017) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team opens the second half of the league schedule Sunday afternoon, visiting Northern Kentucky for a 1 p.m. ET contest from BB&T Arena. The game is set to be streamed live on ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN Applications.

Bernard Scott. Detroit Mercy earned a 57-49 win just two weeks ago against NKU, allowing the fewest points in the Scott era in the triumph at Calihan Hall on Jan. 16.

• Detroit Mercy is 5-0 in Horizon League home contests this season. Overall, the Titans are 6-2 at Calihan Hall.
• The Titans have shot 40 percent or better in seven of nine Horizon League games and rank second in nine HL contests with a 44.7 FG percentage. Detroit Mercy is also second in the league in field goal defense.
• The Titans are 17-10 in Horizon League play in the past two seasons under head coach
Bernard Scott.
• Three Titans just recently went over the 800-point plateau in

Rosanna Reynolds was named the Horizon League Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks and fifth time in her career on Monday. She averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game as the Titans went 3-0 at home last week.
• Reynolds is the first player in school history with 1,500 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists and is just eight assists away from the all-time Titan mark. She became the fifth Titan in school history to surpass the 1,500-point plateau, while becoming just the second Titan player to reach 500 career assists earlier this year.
• In Horizon League play, the Titans lead the league in assists (18.1 apg), defensive rebounding (28.9) and blocked shots (4.2 bpg).
• The Titans are among the NCAA leaders in defensive rebounding (13th, 29.8 per game), 3-point field goals per game (21st, 8.3), assists per game (47th, 16.0), assist-to-turnover ratio (48th, 1.10) and scoring offense (58th, 72.5 ppg).
• Detroit Mercy allowed a season-low 49 points against Northern Kentucky on Jan. 16, which is also the lowest amount of points allowed in the coach Scott era.
• During her career, Detroit Mercy is 16-3 in 19 games when
Rosanna Reynolds scores 20 or more points.
• Reynolds has the top two assist totals this season in the Horizon League, tallying 11 vs. UIC and 12 at Milwaukee. Reynolds leads the conference in total assists (113) and assists per game (5.7).
• Both
Kelsey Mitchell (2nd, 56.4) and
Brianne Cohen (3rd, 56.3) are in the top three in the Horizon League in field goal percentage. The duo are 1-2 in HL-only games with both shooting over 60 percent.

Haleigh Ristovski is among the Horizon League leaders in steals with 32 total. In nine league games, she has 18 swipes (2.0 per game), ranking fourth.
• Reynolds, who ranks 26th in the nation in assists per game (5.7), reached 100 assists in the season for the fourth time this year. Her career-best is 149 and she has 113 this season. Reynolds is also 24th in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.51).
• Reynolds is the top active scorer in the Horizon League with her 1,560 points, which is also 32nd in the NCAA among active players. She is also the active HL leader in assists with 507, which is 14th in the country among active players in Division I.
• Detroit Mercy is assisting on nearly 70 percent (67.6%) of its field goals in Horizon League play (163 assists on 241 field goals). The Titans have tallied four HL games of 20 or more assists in 2016-17.
• Junior
Nicole Urbanick is quickly moving up the all-time 3-pointers made list and ranks sixth with 173.

Nicole Urbanick ranks first in the HL in 3-pointers made per game (2.6), sinking 50 in 19 games. She is fourth in the conference and 52nd in the NCAA with a 40.0 shooting clip from beyond the arc.
• In nine Horizon League games, Reynolds ranks first in the conference with a 3.7 assist-to-turnover ratio.

The Titans suffered a 77-69 setback on the road at Wright State on Friday. Detroit Mercy shot 57 percent in the first half, including 6-of-10 from downtown in the opening 20 minutes of the game.
Overall, Detroit Mercy had its third-highest shooting percentage of the season at 47.4 percent (27-of-57) in the game.
Brianne Cohen hit 5-of-7 shots for 13 points, while
Rosanna Reynolds tallied 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting.
Nicole Urbanick added 13 points, sinking three 3-pointers in the contest.
Detroit Mercy shot 40-percent or better for the 13th time in 2016-17, while making eight triples for the 12th time. The Titans had 15 assists in the game, with Reynolds leading the way with five dimes.

Detroit Mercy is 2-1 all-time against the Norse, since NKU joined the Horizon League as a full-time member prior to the 2015-16 season. The Titans have dropped their only game at BB&T Arena, falling last season on the road.

Scouting Northern Kentucky
Following a weekend road sweep at Valparaiso and UIC, the Norse dropped a home contest Friday against visiting Oakland. The game against the Golden Grizzlies was tied after three quarters, but OU used a 25-point fourth quarter to pull away in a 61-47 triumph.
NKU is 3-6 at home this season and 1-3 from BB&T Arena in Horizon League play.
The Norse have three players that average in double figures, including Kasey Uetrecht, who is posting 11.4 points per game. Rebecca Lyttle and Mikayla Terry average 10.3 and 10.0 points per game, respectively. Lyttle leads the squad with 7.9 boards per contest. Uetrecht is the team's top 3-point shooter, connecting on 27 treys, while hitting them at a 32.9 percent clip.

Detroit Mercy returns home for its next three games, beginning with a pair of home contests next week against Milwaukee and Green Bay. The Titans host the Panthers at 7 p.m. Thursday and welcome Green Bay to town for a 1 p.m. game Saturday.
