WINDSOR, Ontario (2/11/17) – The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team wrapped up from the Windsor Team Challenge on Saturday with a strong showing from Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse. The two-day meet began on Friday with field events, before the bulk of the action finished on Saturday.

Detroit Mercy placed fourth out of 12 teams with 30 points, despite not competing in several different events.

COACH MURRAY SAYS
"It's always good to get back to the team challenge for some international competition. The different races give us an annual test and it's part of our Horizon League preparation. We had a good weekend overall as those who didn't compete worked to improve to prep for our Horizon League effort."
