JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (5/3/2017) -- Three University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse student-athletes earned All-Conference accolades on Wednesday after the ASUN Conference released its year-end awards at the tournament banquet in Jacksonville.

Sophomore attack Lexie Kinmond (Peterborough, Ont.) earned First Team All-League accolades and both senior midfielder Kelsi Pritchard (Orillia, Ont.) and junior defender Emma Mucci (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) were voted Second Team All-Conference. It's the second time Pritchard has been voted Second Team All-Conference, while Mucci and Kinmond each earned All-ASUN honors for the first time in their Titan careers.

The awards and honors are voted on by the league's 11 head coaches with each head coach not being able to vote for their own players.

Kinmond had a prolific season for the Titans and ranked second in the ASUN Conference with 71 points. She tied for the team lead with 43 goals and totaled the second-highest total in school history in assists with 28. In 10 league games, Kinmond also ranked second in the ASUN with 45 points (29 goals, 16 assists). Kinmond, who started all 17 games on attack, became the fourth player in school history to surpass 70 points in a season and eighth Titan to reach the 100-point plateau in her career in just her sophomore season. Kinmond tallied 10 games of four or more points and five contests of six or more points in 2017.

Pritchard had a career year across the board for Detroit Mercy in her senior season, totaling new career-highs in goals (36), points (44), ground balls (23) and caused turnovers (13). She tied a career-high with eight assists and during the 2017 season became the ninth Titan in school history to surpass 100 points in her career. Pritchard, who started all 17 games as a co-captain, finished tied-for-eighth in the ASUN Conference with 10 free-position goals and in league play, ranked 12th in the league with 12 caused turnovers. She notched seven hat tricks in 2017 and tied a career-high with five points in a Senior Day win over Old Dominion.

Mucci, a co-captain, started all 17 games for the Titans on defense. She had one of the top seasons from the draw circle in Titan history, totaling the most draw controls per game (3.82) and the second-most total draw controls (65) in single-season school history. Mucci's 65 DC ranked No. 4 in the ASUN Conference. She had the second-most draw controls in league games, totaling 49 in 10 ASUN contests. Mucci added 22 ground balls and seven caused turnovers from the back line. Mucci became the sixth Titan to surpass 100 career DC earlier in the season and tied a school-record twice with 10 draw controls in a contest.

It's the fifth-straight year that Detroit Mercy has earned three or more All-Conference accolades in ASUN women's lacrosse. The red, white and blue were one of five teams to have three or more players represented on the All-League squads. The Titans and Jacksonville are the only two teams that have had three or more players named All-League in the past five seasons since the inception of ASUN women's lacrosse.

Jacksonville's Danielle Della Rocca and Mercer's Lindsey Zeltwanger shared the ASUN Player of the Year honor, JU's Erika Brager was voted the Defensive Player of the Year, Central Michigan's Emma Hamilton earned the Freshman of the Year award and Coastal Carolina head coach Kristen Selvage took home the Coach of the Year nod for the 2017 season.

The Titans just recently wrapped up their ninth season and first under head coach Laurie Merian. Detroit Mercy finished the year on a four-game win streak, defeating the defending ASUN tournament champion Old Dominion, before winning three-straight on the road to close out the 2017 season.
