BUFFALO, N.Y. (10/13/18) -- Ben Kendell and
James McCann placed first and second respectively in the Canisius Alumni Classic, both eclipsing the 25-minute mark, with McCann's time being a new personal record.
Kendell crossed the line first with a time of 24:40 and McCann followed closely behind, finishing with a mark of 24:58, setting a new PR.
This was Kendell's second first place finish in the race, also winning it in 2016.
Junior
Scott Smith broke the top-15 finishing with a new PR of 26:23 and sophomore
Thomas Mueller broke the top-25 with a time of 26:44.
Junior
Adam Fraeyman and freshman
Ryan Schwab were the next two runners to cross the line, finishing at 26:59 and 27:05 respectively.
Freshman
Michael Greeley finished forty first with a new PR of 27:18.
This was the final tune-up before the Titans head to Kenosha, Wisc. for the Horizon League Championships on Oct. 27.
