DETROIT (3/1/2019) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team will host Northern Kentucky for Senior Day on Saturday from Calihan Hall with the opening tip set for 1 p.m. ET. The game is the opener of a doubleheader with the Titan men's basketball team with their game beginning at 4 p.m.
Detroit Mercy is set to honor two seniors in guards
Brittney Jackson and
Lola Ristovski. Both have been four-years players under head coach
Bernard Scott in all four seasons and have both played more than 110 games in their Detroit Mercy careers. The Titans will honor the pair prior to the start of the game.
Admission into the contest is $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and children under the age of 12. Fans may also watch the game live via ESPN-Plus.

Brittney Jackson and
Lola Ristovski. Jackson just recently went over 200 career assists and also ranks 12th all-time in 3-pointers made (112), while
Lola Ristovski has been a dependable player during her Titan career, playing in 115 career games.
Both players were part of the 2016-17 team that made a run to the Horizon League Championship game and have been key players in all four seasons under head coach
Bernard Scott. Combined, the pair have played in 228 games, starting 81 contests, and hit 180 3-pointers in their Titan careers.
Last Time Out
Paige Bellman scored a career-high 19 points and secured her second career double-double, adding 11 rebounds, but Detroit Mercy fell to Wright State by a 76-73 margin from Calihan Hall on Thursday. The Titans roared back in the fourth quarter, scoring 23 points in the final stanza and bringing the game to within one point three times in the final 3:11 of the contest.
Detroit Mercy had two great looks in the final minute to take the lead or tie, but both shots fell away as Wright State was able to survive. Bellman was big in the second half, scoring 13 points in the second half alone. Freshman

The Titans were 25-of-29 from the free throw line for an 86-percent shooting clip. The 25 free throw makes were a season-high. Detroit Mercy also had 12 assists and just 12 turnovers in the game. Bellman was 8-for-8 from the free throw line and sank 5-of-7 shots from the floor, in the contest.
Scouting Northern Kentucky
The Norse are riding a three-game win streak that has pushed their league record to 9-8 on the season entering Saturday's game against the Titans. NKU holds a 2-13 mark away from the friendly confines of BB&T Arena this season, with one of those victories coming at Oakland on Thursday, a 74-63 win.
Senior Molly Glick leads the team in scoring at 10.0 points per game, with freshman Taylor Clos just behind at 9.8 points per game. Freshman Ally Niece averages 9.3 points per game, while leading the squad in assists (85). Sophomore forward Kailey Coffey ranks fourth in the HL in rebounding at 8.2 caroms per contest. Glick and Clos have combined for 99 3-pointers on the season as NKU has 176 triples on the season as a team.
All-Time Series
Detroit Mercy is 3-5 overall in the all-time series with Northern Kentucky, with all of those meetings coming since the 2015-16 season. The Titans won three of the first four in the series, while NKU has won the past four contests againt the Titans.
The Titans are 2-1 in home games against the Norse. The two programs have had several close matchups in the past, including three decided by five points or less.
