DETROIT (9/21/2019) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team will head to the Derby State as the Titans take part in the NKU Collegiate Classic.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin with 36 holes on Monday, Sept. 23, and conclude with the final 18 on Tuesday on the par 71, 6,724-yard Lassing Pointe Golf Course in Union Kentucky.

The Titans will battle host Northern Kentucky, Chicago State, DePaul, Evansville, Green Bay, Longwood, Morehead State, Robert Morris, St. Francis (Pa.), Thomas More and West Virginia.
This will be the fourth time the Titans will take part in the tournament as they were fifth last season with an 878 total, 11th in 2017 and ninth in 2015.
Last year,
Anthony Occhiuto and
Brendan O'Rourke both tallied a 3-under 68 in the final round, good for the fifth-lowest round in tournament history.
Through two events, all eight Titans are averaging in the 70's led by seniors
Zack Tenerowicz (73.8) and
Scott Sparks (75.5).
