ALLENDALE, Mich. (2/15/2020) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team continued their momentum upon leaving Canada returning home to compete in the Grand Valley State University Big Meet this weekend Feb 14-15.
 
The 4x400 relay team won third place in section three of the race.
 
Sophomore Constantina Sinani placed fourth and Freshman Micah Carey placed fifth in flights one and two of the triple jump. Carey also placed fifth in the long jump with a score of 5.56m, while freshman Tamera Adderley was seventh in the 60-meter dash in 8.28. 
 
Freshman Mone Knowles continues her solid season with a top-ten finish in the 200-meter dash. Senior Sarah DeDolph placed tenth in the mile run with a time of 5:42.81.
 
The women's track and field teams head down I-94 to Ann Arbor to compete in the Silverston Invitational at the University of Michigan next Friday Feb. 21.
