DETROIT (12/14/2021) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball program currently has a number of professionals at various leagues in the United States and overseas as the Titans have always been a program that has graduated its players in the classroom and given them an opportunity to pursue a career at the next level. 

The program also has a player coaching in the NBA in Willie Green, the head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans after serving as an assistant coach with Golden State and Phoenix, winning multiple titles with the Warriors.

Willie Green '03 - currently the head coach in the NBA for the New Orleans Pelicans. He is in his first year as head coach and the team is currently 8-21 on the season. His first NBA win came against the Memphis Grizzlies on Nov. 13. 

Torvoris Baker '06 - plays in Germany with Ibbenbueren and just recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds against Wulfen and is averaging 12.3 ppg., 9.2 rpg., 1.7 apg., and 1.4 spg. 

Paris Bass - plays in the NBA G League with the South Bay Lakers. He just had a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds and is tallying 15.1 ppg., 6.1 rpg., and 1.3 spg. 

Gerald Blackshear Jr. - plays in Kosovo with Trepca in the Kosovan Superliga and is averaging 9.0 ppg., 8.0 rpg., and 1.1 spg. in 12 games. 

Chris Blake - plays in El Salvador with Brujos in the Salvadorean Liga MB and has helped his team to a 13-5 record on the year. He just poured in 40 points and is averaging 29.9 ppg., 5.9 rpg., 8.2 apg., and 2.0 spg. 

Evan Bruinsma - plays in Turkey for the Buyukcekmece Basket Basketball Kulubu. He recently tallied a double-double with 31 points and 12 rebounds and is averaging 11.7 ppg., 7.3 rpg., and 2.0 apg. on the year.

Kameron Chatman - plays in Portugal with Ovarense and is recording 18.7 ppg., 6.9 rpg., 1.3 apg., and 1.1 spg.

Eli Holman - plays with Mahram in the Iranian Super League and was just named the Hoops Agent Player of the Week after recording 29 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Foolad. He is averaging 22.0 ppg. and 13.5 rpg. on the year as the season just started. 

Ray McCallum - plays in Germany with Hamburg in the German BBL and is posting 5.8 ppg., 2.3 rpg., and 1.8 apg.

Thomas Kennedy - plays in Japan with Hiroshima and has his team at 9-7 on the season. He just scored 15 points with five assists and now has over 10,000 points in his career as he is averaging 8.6 ppg., 3.0 rpg., and 1.8 apg. 

Bul Kuol - plays in Australia with Cairns Taipans in the Australian NBL and is tallying 5.0 ppg., 5.0 rpg., and 2.0 apg. as the league just started.

Josh McFolley - plays in Slovakia) with Prievidza in the Slovakian Nike SBL and just netted 27 points against Levice. He is averaging 17.7 ppg., 1.7 rpg., 5.0 apg., and 2.7 spg. 

Justin Miller - plays in Nicaragua with Brumas de Jinotega in the Nicaraguan LSB and the team is in first place at 17-4. He just registered 13 points and 10 rebounds in a game and is tallying 14.5 ppg., 10.8 rpg., 2.9 apg., and 1.2 spg. 

Chase Simon - plays in France with JDA Dijon Bourgogne in the French Betclic ELITE ProA and is averaging 4.0 ppg., and 1.5 rpg.
