ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (4/10/2021) – The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team kicked off their outdoor season at the Golden Grizzly Invitational on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
 
The red, white and blue had seven top-10 finishers across all events, with sophomore 
Kayla Smith and freshman 
Madison Livingston earning points for the Titans. 
In the 5000-meters, all four Titans in graduate senior 
Kayla Hughes, sophomores 
Allison Sherman, 
Kaitlin Murray and freshman 
Katie Anderla, while in the 400m, junior 
Taylor Tomman and sophomore 
Josie Arnold claimed top 190. 
Detroit Mercy returns to action next Sunday, Apr. 18, when the squad competes in the Bucknell Invitational.
