ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (4/17/2021) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team had a limited number of competitors, but was still able to post a few top-10 finishes on Saturday at the Grizzly PR Classic at Oakland. 

Sophomore Josie Arnold claimed fifth in the 800-meters and eighth in the 400m, while sophomore Kayla Smith was fifth in the discus. 

Detroit Mercy will be back in action next Saturday, Apr. 24, as the red, white and blue return back to Oakland for the Elaine Leigh Track & Field Invite.
