CLEVELAND, Ohio (4/9/2021) -- The Mid-American Conference has announced that Saturday's women's lacrosse game between the University of Detroit Mercy and in-state rival Central Michigan has been postponed, it was announced on Friday. The game was set to be played in Detroit. It marks the fourth-straight postponed contest for the Titan women's lacrosse program.

"The following women's lacrosse contests have been postponed due to roster issues with the Central Michigan women's lacrosse program related to positive COVID-19 tests and subsequent contact tracing. Attempts will be made to reschedule these contests on a to-be-determined date."
The Titans are set to return to the field on Tuesday, April 13, when the red, white and blue hit the road to play in their first-ever contest against Akron in Ohio. It marks two road games next week with Detroit Mercy also traveling to Ohio to play Youngstown State on Saturday, April 17.
