DETROIT (5/21/2021) -- The University of Detroit Mercy Department of Athletics had another banner semester in the classroom with 16 of the 17 athletic programs recording a 3.0 GPA or better and the collective department posting a 3.36 GPA for the 2021 spring semester.
"This is a great accomplishment by our student-athletes with everything they have had to deal with this year," said Director of Athletics
Robert C. Vowels, Jr. "Between different practice schedules, competitions, and COVID testing protocols, to be able to handle that and still achieve a great term GPA should make all of us proud!"
Twelve (12) of the 17 Titan athletic teams had a GPA of 3.3 or better, with the Detroit Mercy women's golf (3.85 GPA) and men's golf squads (3.62) leading the way on each side.
