DETROIT (7/21/2021) -- The University of Detroit Mercy Department of Athletics is looking for a new leader for the Titan Dance Team for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. A staple at Titan basketball games as well as other events, the dance team is comprised of student-athletes at the University and holds a rich tradition.
Job responsibilities include:
- Choreograph routines to be performed during men's and women's basketball games
- Hold routine practices and oversee all team activities
- Manage a Budget
- Hold Fundraisers to supplement the dance team budget
- Hold yearly auditions
- Travel with the dance team to post-season basketball tournaments
Qualifications:
- Dance experience (collegiate dance team preferred)
- Choreography
- Creativity
- Communication, both written and verbal
- Time management
