DETROIT (8/15/2021) -- A pair of first-half goals was all that was needed, but the Titans added another in the second half as the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team ended the preseason with a 3-1 win over Siena Heights on Sunday evening.
Erica Toupin started the scoring off a corner kick from
Julie Ann Piechocki that made its way to her in the 15th minute and she beat the keeper. Just nine minutes later,
Taylor Stanley was able to score off a pass from
Hailey Wentzloff to go up 2-0.Â
In the second half, Siena Heights was able to cut into the lead, but in the 73rd minute, Piechocki was able to collect the ball from a corner kick and a rebound off a shot and bury it for a 3-1 advantage.Â

Jazmine Scott, who finished off the game in net.Â
