DETROIT (8/6/2021) -- The University of Detroit Mercy Athletics Department has announced the Titan Name, Image and Likeness Policy (NIL).
In July, the NCAA adopted a uniform interim policy to make it permissible for all student-athletes to use their NIL for personal financial gain.
"At Detroit Mercy, we support the student-athletes receiving compensation for the use of their name, image and likeness," said Director of Athletics
Robert C. Vowels, Jr. "In accordance with certain guidelines, our student-athletes will have the freedom to earn compensation for their name, image and likeness, subject only to certain limitations, which we have outlined and will share with all."
