Taylor Stanley as Detroit Mercy blanked Green Bay, 2-0, on Homecoming Saturday to remain undefeated at Titan Field on the season.

Jazmine Scott posted her third shutout of the season making one save while the back line held Green Bay (2-6-2, 0-2-2 HL) to just four total shots. Conversely, Detroit Mercy (5-6-1, 3-2-0 HL) posted a season-high 24 shots with eight on goal.
After a scoreless first half, Lodato made a quick stop with the ball to shake a defender, passed it over to Toupin who got tripped up by two defenders but was able to slot the ball over to a wide open Puerto-Khalil who delivered a strike over to lower left corner past Phoenix goalkeeper Annie Mason giving the Titans a 1-0 lead in the 58th minute.
Just four minutes later in the 62nd minute, Stanley took the ball deep into the right corner and sent a cross into the box that landed right to Piechocki who got past a defender and hit a low shot into the back of the net for a 2-0 advantage.
Detroit Mercy will host Wright State for a league match at Titan Field on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.
