ALLENDALE (2/12/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team saw seven athletes set new personal records during the Grand Valley State Big Meet this weekend.

This is the second consecutive weekend in which five or more women's competitors have set personal records. 

Big Weekend At The Big Meet 
On Friday Allison Sherman set an indoor personal record in the 5000-Meter run with a time of 18:25.76 one week after setting a personal record in the 3000-meter run. Kaitlin Murray, Rebecca Arnold, and Evie Wright also set personal records. Sherman's time was the fastest of the Titans that day.

On Saturday Kayla Smith picked up a personal record of 15.20 meters in the Weight Throw. 

Nina Pizzo earned a personal record in the Mile, running a 5:42.60 time. It is her third personal record of the indoor season after scoring a personal record in the 800-meter a week ago. 

Zoe Madden took silver in the Long Jump on her way to a personal record 5.49 meters.
