ROCHESTER (4/9/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team saw four individuals score top-five finishes at the Oakland University Golden Grizzly Invitational led by Rebecca Arnold, Kayla Smith, Zoe Madden, and Kaila Hemphill. 

Arnold set a personal record and took second in the 5000-Meter at 17:47.50. 

Kayla Smith took third in Discus Throw with a personal record 40.45 meter distance which is good for 10th all-time in program history. 

Zoe Madden placed second in the Long Jump at 5.51 meters while Kaila Hemphill tallied fifth for 5.26 meters. 

Other Notable Finishes 
Four runners earned personal records in the 1500-Meter as Josie Arnold paced Detroit Mercy to a top-10 finish at 4:54.33. Evie Wright scored a new personal record at 4:59.52, Kaitlin Murray crossed the line at 5:12.64, and Olivia Kochevar came in at 5:20.89.
