GRAND RAPIDS (5/2/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team sent distance runners Evie Wright and Kaitlin Murray to the 2022 Davenport University Invitational to compete in the 5000-Meter. 

Both runner would finish in the top-25 at Davenport with Wright leading the way with a time of 18:10.93 which was good for 21st. Murray finished 25th at 18:59.52

Following a weekend split between Davenport and Concordia University, the red, white, and blue will now turn their attention to the 2022 Horizon League Outdoor Championships in Rochester Hills, MI. May 6-8 at Oakland University.
