SAGINAW (1/14/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team put up a dozen top-five performances on Friday at the SVSU Classic, led by
Zoe Madden's second in the Long Jump and
Kayla Smith's second in the Weight Throw.Â
Madden's landed a 5.31 meter jump to finish second at the SVSU Classic.Â
Smith accomplished a 15.56 meter throw to score second in the Weight Throw.Â
Other Top Finishes At SVSU
Evie Wright finished third in the 3,000-Meter at 10:53.31 while
Josie Arnold came just behind her in fourth at a 10:55.88 time.Â
Kaliyah Favors earned fourth in the 60-Meter with a 8.06 second time and fifth in the 200-Meter at 27.03 seconds.Â
Taylor Tomman scored fourth in the 400-Meter at 1:01.88.Â
Alexa Krauth, behind a personal record of 9.08 seconds, tallied fifth in the 60-Meter Hurdles.Â
Zoe Morris and
Jada Clark each earned fourth for their efforts in the High Jump at 1.53 meters.Â
Along with Madden's 5.31 meters in the Long Jump,
Kaila Hemphill notched fourth at 4.95 meters. Â
Finally, the Detroit Mercy 'A' Relay team finished the night fifth as
Taylor Tomman,
MacKenzie Patterson,
Lauryn Winters, and
Zoe Madden ran a time of 4:26.78.Â
Michigan Invitational
Mone Knowles scored fifth in the 200-Meter at 25.69 seconds.
