DETROIT (10/13/2022) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team will have one final fall event on the docket as the Titans will make the short trip to Birmingham to compete in Central Michigan's Chippewa Invitational.
The two-day, 36-hole event will have 18 holes on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 16-17, at the par 72, 5,994-yard Birmingham Country Club in Birmingham, Michigan. Both days will tee off at 10:00 a.m.

The Titans will battle host CMU, Chicago State, Eastern Michigan, Ferris State, Green Bay, UIC, Michigan, Oakland and Youngstown State.
Detroit Mercy played in the tournament last year, placing 10th with a 679 (336-343) in some wintry weather.
Ariel Chang registered led the team, tying for seventh with a 159 (78-81).
Through three events, Chang leads the team with a 74.00 average with a win at YSU's Roseann Schwartz, while sophomore
Taylor Kondel is second on the team with a 78.63 mark.
