ANN ARBOR, MI. (2/19/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy womens track and field team saw six top-five performances on Friday as the team competed at the 2023 Silverston Invitational hosted by the University of Michigan.
Micah Carey won the Long Jump with a personal record 5.82 meter distance which is also good for third in the Horizon League for the indoor season. Her jump matches her personal outdoor record as Carey also becomes the first Titan to go over 19 feet indoors.
The Titans' 4x400 Relay teams scored second and third at Silverston with the 'A' team of
Taylor Tomman,
Josie Arnold,
Gracelyn Peebles, and
Kaliyah Favors taking second at 4:20.51.
Kayla Smith earned bronze in the Weight Throw on a 15.87 meter distance. That distance sits ninth on the indoor season for the league.
Mone Knowles secured fourth in the 200-Meter with a 25.33 second time.
