Antoine Davis led the Titans to a perfect week and for that, he was honored as the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week on Monday.
It is the fourth time this season and the 13th time in his career that Davis has earned the weekly conference honor.
Davis - who currently leads the nation in a bevy of categories, including scoring at 26.6 points per game - tallied 33.5 points, 3.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in wins over Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne. He shot 51.2% from the field (22-of-43), 56.3% (9-of-16) from three and 93.3% (14-of-15) at the line as the Titans swept their homestand to move back into contention for a home playoff game.
He posted 35 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals against Cleveland State and then notched 32 points with four rebounds, three assists and two steals against Purdue Fort Wayne as he now has a league-best 20, 20-point games, eight 30-point outings and two 40-point outbursts.
Davis and the Titans will be on the road this week as they play at Milwaukee on Thursday and at Green Bay on Saturday.
