Box Score DETROIT (3/5/2023) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse team had to go on the road for the third-straight week against the BIG EAST as the Titans saw Marquette take a 26-4 decision on Sunday afternoon.

Jess Turner had two caused turnovers and a ground ball and sophomore
Maddy Camm posted two caused turnovers. Junior
Sarah Meek pulled down a game-high seven draw controls and junior

Leah Bodnar had two ground balls apiece. Sophomore
Meredith Leavell started and made seven saves, while senior
Hannah Shrader had two stops off the bench.
Marquette (4-1) scored eight in a row to start the game before Jarvis took a pass from senior
Annie Gilbert for the score early in the second. Kopchia would add a free-position goal later in the period.
Rocha notched her fourth-straight game with a goal in the third off a pass from Kopchia and she spun around her defender to beat the keeper, while Schillinger tallied her first collegiate goal early in the fourth.
The red, white and blue will now get ready for its final non-conference game as the team hosts Division I newcomer Lindenwood on March 17.
