ROCHESTER (4/22/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team had 10 top-five finishes at the 2023 Elaine Leigh Invitational hosted by Oakland University led by Mone Knowles with a pair of wins. 

Knowles won the 100-Meter at 12.15 seconds and the 200-Meter with a 24.62 second time. 

Other Top Finishes 
Josie Arnold - at 4:38.00 - took fourth in the 1500-Meter which was a personal record. 

The Titans' 4x400 Relay team of Taylor Tomman, Josie Arnold, Alexa Krauth, and Le'Gary Jackson finished in 4:11.83 which was good for fourth. 

Kayla Smith took third in the Discus at 38.34 meters and fourth in the Hammer at 46.35 meters. The Hammer throw was a personal record for Smith.

Zoe Morris earned fifth in the High Jump with a 1.60 meter leap. 

McKenzie McNitt scored fifth in the 400-Meter 59.92 seconds.  

Kaliyah Favors tallied fifth in the 200-Meter at a personal record time of 25.81 seconds. Favors also finished fifth in the 100-Meter at 12.63 seconds.
