Alison Donaugh pulled double-duty in the first game going 3-for-3 at the plate while tossing 4.2 innings with two strikeouts in the circle as Detroit Mercy concluded the 2023 season with a 8-1 and 6-0 doubleheader setback at Green Bay on Saturday afternoon at King Park. Freshman
Elyssa Adams recorded her first collegiate hit with a single to left-center field in the fifth inning of game one.

Jenna Holt hit 2-for-4 with her second double of the season while junior
Maddy Heilner went 1-for-3 with a RBI single accounting for the Titans' only run of the game. Donuagh and Heilner also each recorded a hit in the nightcap.
Senior
Olivia Warrington went 4.1 innings with four strikeouts in game two.
Game 1 Recap:
• Detroit Mercy (4-34, 3-20 HL) got off to a great start as Holt led the game off with a double and was brought home by an RBI single from Heilner to take a 1-0 lead. The Titans did have the bases loaded with no outs but were only able to get the lone run.
• Green Bay (21-29, 12-10 HL) struck back with a bases-loaded walk followed by a two-run single to move ahead 3-1.
• GB added RBI singles in the third and fourth inning increasing the lead to 5-1.
• The Phoenix connected on a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning followed by another RBI single in the sixth to secure the 8-1 win.
Game 2 Recap:
• Donuagh and Heilner recorded the Titans' only two hits of the game in the first inning with a pair of back-to-back singles in the first inning.
• The Phoenix got on the board first taking a 2-0 lead in the first inning with a pair of RBI singles.
• GB added an RBI double in the third inning to move ahead 3-0.

Jordan Hazel each drew a walk in the top of the fourth inning but the Titans couldn't scratch a run to get on the board.
• The Phoenix got a run off a sacrifice fly and a two-run double to lead 6-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning.
• After Hazel's walk in the fourth, GB pitcher Brittany Baneck retired the next 10 consecutive batters to secure the win and a spot in the #HLSB Championships for the Phoenix.
