INDIANAPOLIS (6/12/2023) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf and men's soccer programs were lauded for their work in the classroom as the Horizon League announced its annual Raise Your Sights award winners on Monday.

Women's golf had the highest GPA out of all the Titan teams with a 3.5, while men's soccer posted a 3.38. 

The top academic male and female teams from each member institution are recognized by the Horizon League. Eight different League sports were represented, with men's soccer receiving the most representation on the list with five programs, while three women's basketball teams, three women's golf teams and three women's tennis teams were recognized. Baseball, men's golf, men's tennis and women's soccer each had two teams earn Raise Your Sights awards.
