CINCINNATI (10/22/2024) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team finished off its fall season with a 10th-place showing at the Xavier Invitational presented by Gateway Logistics on Tuesday.
UDM tallied an 894 (299-289-306) at the par 70, 7,109-yard Maketewah Country Club.
Senior
Marko Banic led the team with a career-low 219 (73-73-73) for a share of 21st place. Banic had 11 pars and two birdies for his third-straight 3-over 73 and ended the event with seven birdies and 31 pars.
Sophomore
Gowtham Nalluri tied for 27th with a 220 (73-71-76). He had eight pars and two birdies in the final round and led the team with eight birdies in the event, along with 28 pars.
Sophomore
Mason Sokolowski tied for 45th with a 226 (76-71-79), while sophomore
David Swab claimed 49th with a 229 (77-74-78). Sololowski also led the squad with 33 pars.
