DETROIT (12-11-24)
– Second-year Head Coach Dan Vitale has announced the 2025 softball schedule. Detroit Mercy will play a 12-game #HLSB home slate at Buysse Ballpark, highlighted by a mid-week Metro Series showdown against arch-rival Oakland (Apr. 8-9). The Titans also host Youngstown State in home-opening HL series action (Mar. 21-22).
 
UDM opens the 2025 campaign with a road swing beginning in the Windy City at the DePaul Indoor (Feb. 7-9), followed by a tournament down in Lubbock, Tex. at Texas Tech (Feb. 21-23).
 
The Titans then head down South for a doubleheader at Alabama A&M (Mar. 6), followed by a trip over to Florence, Ala. for the University of North Alabama (UNA) Tournament (Mar. 7-9) and concludes at Mid-American Conference foe Ohio (Mar. 15).
 
After the home-opening league series against YSU, UDM closes out the month of March with a league set at Purdue Fort Wayne (Mar. 28-29).
 
The Titans open action in April with a pair of in-state road battles at Big Ten foe Michigan State (Apr. 1) and their second MAC opponent Central Michigan (Apr. 2).
 
UDM resumes HL play with a major test as 2024 #HLSB Champion Cleveland State invades Buysse Ballpark for a three-game set (Apr. 4-5).
 
Following the mid-week set against the Golden Grizzlies, Detroit Mercy heads to Robert Morris for a league series (Apr. 12-13) and returns home for a set against 2024 #HLSB runner-up Northern Kentucky (Apr. 18-19).
 
The Titans close out April with a road tilt at Green Bay (Apr. 27-28) and return to Buysse Ballpark for a league series finale against IU Indy (May 2-3).
 
The top six teams during the league season qualify for the 2025 Horizon League Championships held May 7-10.
