DETROIT (3/14/2024) -- The University of Detroit Mercy track and field program will have seven meets to prepare for the postseason as the Titans announced their outdoor schedule.

Detroit Mercy will open the spring at Eastern Illinois' Big Blue Classic from March 29-30.

April will have a few local meets along with trips out of state. On Apr. 6, UDM will be at Oakland for the Golden Grizzly Invitational. The following week (12-13), the Titans will have a couple of split squads, with some heading to Central Michigan's Chippewa Challenge and others at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic.

The next week (19-20), the red, white, and blue will follow the same plan, with some traveling back to Oakland for the Elaine Leigh Track & Field Invitational and to Ohio State for the Jesse Owens Classic.

The final regular season meet will be at Michigan in the Len Paddock Invitational on Apr. 27.

The Horizon League Championship will be local at Oakland from May 3-5. The NCAA Division I Preliminary Championships are set for May 22-25, while the Division I Championships are slated for June 5-8.
