WINDSOR, Ont. (1/11/2025) – Freshman 
Meghan Koss advanced to the 60-meter dash final on Saturday as the Detroit Mercy women's track and field team concluded competition at the Windsor University 42nd Annual Can-Am Classic.
Koss clocked a time of 7.72 seconds in the semifinal round, which is the fourth fastest time in school history. In the final, the Dearborn native crossed the line in fourth place with a time of 7.74.
Junior 
Zoe Morris leaped to a fourth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.57-meters to highlight the field events.
Sophomore 
Kayla Wize led the Titans in the rarely run 300-meter dash, crossing the line in 19th place with a time of 42.88 seconds.
In the final event of the day, the 4x400-meter relay team of 
Meghan Koss, 
McKenzie McNitt, 
Ashlee Lewis, and 
Audrey Williams finished sixth with a time of 4:18.61.
UDM will be back in action next Friday at the SVSU Classic. The meet will begin at 2:30 p.m.
