Titans Earn Six Top-Three Finishes At Akron

Senior Zoe Madden had two top-three efforts at Akron.

AKRON, Ohio (1/31/2025) – Three silver and three bronze performances highlighted this week's action as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team concluded the Akron Invite on Friday.

Senior Zoe Madden had a pair of each as she was second in the long jump with a leap of 5.37-meters and third in the triple jump at a career-best 10.93.

Junior Jada Clark placed second in the high jump clearing 1.55m. Junior McKenzie McNitt was third in the 400-meters with a career time of 57.66, seventh in school history, while freshman Meghan Koss claimed third in the 60m with a time of 7.73.

The 4x400 quartet of McNitt, sophomore Gabriela Gashaj and freshmen Audrey Williams and Meghan Koss combined for a runner-up time of 4:00.06.

Detroit Mercy will now get ready for the Akron Invitational on Friday.
