CINCINNATI (10/20/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team has three players in the top 50 as the Titans started their final event of the fall season in the Xavier Invitational on Monday.
Detroit Mercy totaled a 604 (302-302) through two rounds and is tied for ninth at the par 70, 7,109-yard Maketewah Country Club in Cincinati, Ohio. UDM is just eight shots outside the top four.

Mason Sokolowski leads the Titans with a 148 (71-77) for a share of 21st. He started the day with a 1-over 71, knocking in four birdies and 11 pars before ending with a 77 and 11 pars in the afternoon.
Junior
David Swab is tied for 32nd with a 150 (76-74), while freshman
Peyton Lawley shares 43rd with a 152 (80-72). Swab had four birdies and 21 total pars and Lawley rebounded from a slow start to tally a 2-over 72 in the second round, posting two birdies and 13 pars.
The final round of the event is set to tee off at 9:00 a.m., tomorrow.
