Meredith Leavell made 12 saves, but it was a tough battle all game long as the University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse team fell, 21-1, at Arizona State on Saturday.

Tunie Mullen picked up two ground balls and junior
Angelina Hook had a caused turnover.
ASU (3-0) took an early 2-0 lead before Cuckler found the back of the net. After that, the Sun Devils ended the game on a run.
Detroit Mercy will be back in action next Saturday, Feb. 22, when UDM hosts Jesuit-rival Canisius at 2:00 p.m. on campus at Titan Field.
Game Notes:
- Arizona State leads the all-time match-up, 3-0, but this was the first game on the road in the series
- Leavell has now recorded double-digit saves in 22 of her 45 career games
