Mullins Leads The Way For Titans In Canada

Freshman Lyla Mullins was fourth in the shot put at Windsor.

WINDSOR, Ont. (2/8/2025) -- Freshman Lyla Mullins posted a top-five finish in the shot put and the 4x400 earned a bronze as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team concluded the Windsor Team Challenge on Saturday.

Mullins was fourth in the shot put with a season-best throw of 12.14 meters.

Juniors Jada Clark and Zoe Morris both shared fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.57m, while the 4x400 team of senior Ashlee Lewis, junior McKenzie McNitt, sophomore Gabriela Gashaj and freshman Sofia Figueroa placed third in 4:09.21.

The Titans will be back in action next Friday when a small squad heads to the GVSU Big Meet.
