Alexis Hoff went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored while freshman
Abby Klaft hit 2-for-3 connecting on her first career home run. However, Detroit Mercy rallied within a run at 5-4 but Purdue Fort Wayne pulled away in the final two innings for a 10-5 win in the series finale on Friday afternoon.

Recap:
• PFW (8-16, 4-2 HL) jumped out a 5-0 lead with a run in the first and two in the third and fourth innings.
• UDM battled back and hung a four-spot in the top of the fifth inning off RBI singles from Hallman and Holt followed by a two-run single from Davis to pull within a run at 5-4.
• The Dons added another two runs in the bottom half to move ahead 7-4.
• Klaft's solo shot came in the sixth inning, pulling the Titans back with a pair of runs at 7-5 but they left two runners stranded.
• PFW then added three more runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull away for good.
Detroit Mercy travels to East Lansing, Mich. for a non-conference doubleheader showdown at Michigan State on Tuesday, Apr. 1 at 4 p.m.
